How does your religion impact your family?
Because none of our family is religious, we don't really have an direct impact.
How does your religion impact your society (and even the world)?
Religion is a system to guide people and balance the world.
(Assuming my subject is a Christian living in either China or Japan.)
Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? How would you define the two different places?
Do you think that everyone is equal and have their own rights to claim?
Then, would you give up all your wealth, including your home and luxurious goods to save and help the unfortunate ones?
Would you feel uncomfortable being the only Christian among group of Buddhists or other asian religions? Would you be able to stand up for your religion?
Living in China/Japan where Christianity is not the major religion must have affected your practice. For example, are there any pressure from your friends or people close to you?
Are all your family members Christians? If they are, when and how did they start being a Christian? Did they convert from another religion? If not, is there pressure from your family? Are there disagreements within the family? What are the major issues?
In school, when you learn about different religions, does it make you uncomfortable? Have ever been excused from any class because of your belief?
Do you go to church every Sunday? Have you ever proselytized? (Induced someone to convert to your own religion)
Imagine one of your family members have committed a crime. Would you report to the police or support your family? (Keep in mind the Ten Commandments, salvation and ‘everyone deserves a second chance’)
Your environment and people around you are constantly changing. Do you think you will ever convert your religion? If so, to what and why?
